DALEDIVA PROUD TO SING FOR BBC’S ‘CHILDREN IN NEED’ APPEAL

Cromford-based chorus DaleDiva will be performing as part of this year’s BBC Children in Need appeal.
The winners of this summer’s ‘Don’t Stop Believing’ TV talent show will be singing at EastMidlandsAirport on Friday 19 November from 8.30pm. And if everything goes to plan we’ll be performing our ‘Single Ladies’ signature tune live on BBC1 at 8.50pm.
DaleDiva musical director Ally Law said: “We were thrilled to be asked and very proud to be performing as part of the BBC’s biggest annual charity event.
“We hope viewers at home enjoy watching us and it helps get them phoning in and pledging donations to this most worthy cause.”
DaleDiva is made up of more than 60 members of all ages from across Derbyshire including Matlock, Wirksworth, Belper, Cromford, Chesterfield and Derby.
The four-part harmony chorus won the most public votes to win its heat and then the final of Channel Five show ‘Don’t Stop Believing’ on its quest to find Britain’s best all-singing, all-dancing show choir in August.
The prize was a recording contract and the girls spent a week in London in October recording a 10-track album which is currently being produced and due out soon.
