DaleDiva are thrilled
to announce that they have been asked to perform
at a ‘Last Choir Standing’ Big Screen,
live event at the BBC Big Screen, Market Place, Derby,
Saturday 16th August at 3.00pm. A mass-singing workshop
led by leading choral director, Mike Brewer OBE,
will be interspersed with performances by ‘DaleDiva’ and
'Sosa Xa!' a choir from Sheffield. Mike Brewer is
director of the National Youth Choirs of Great Britain,
and musical director of award winning chamber choir
Laudibus, Mike is a world class choral trainer and
has the ability to create incredible, participative
singing experiences.
Although registration for the free tickets for the
500 seated area has now closed due to high demand
you will still be able to watch the events on the
Big Screens if you visit the location. The event
will be hosted by the well known personality Aleena
Naylor, the voice of Radio Derby's Morning Show.
The Chorus are extremely excited about this opportunity.
They have come such a long way since forming 8 months
ago and have every intention of making Derbyshire
proud.
