A good chorus has a mixture
of people with different talents all working towards
the same aims. Perhaps you are a trained musician/singer,
have been involved in choral organisations in the past,
a seasoned performer with the local ‘amateur
dramatics’? Then, fantastic, I’d love to
meet you!
The same goes for women that maybe haven’t sung
since they were in the school choir, (that might have
been last week or years ago!). You only sing in the
shower or croon in the car when no-ones listening.
Whatever you background, there is a place for you all
if:- • You have the ability to
sing in tune (normally if you can sing ‘Happy
Birthday’ correctly you can sing in tune).
• You are willing to learn.
• You are able to smile (if that needs work, no problem!).
• You can be committed to weekly rehearsals.
• You have the ability to have fun.
• You are willing to be part of a team.
* You do not have to read
music to be a potential member of DaleDiva. Songs
will be learnt by teaching CDs and other teaching
methods.
